How to Hang Your Framed Canvas: Step-by-Step Guide

Our framed canvases come with pre-attached sawtooth hangers, along with nails or screws and anti-collision silicone pads in your hanging kit. Follow these easy steps to hang your art securely and beautifully.

Step 1: Determine Placement

  1. Choose the Spot: Use a measuring tape to find the perfect location for your canvas.
  2. Mark the Wall: Lightly mark with a pencil where the top edge of the framed canvas will be on the wall.

Step 2: Install Nails or Screws

For Small Canvases (with one sawtooth hanger):

  1. Find the Center: Measure the width of the canvas and mark the center on the wall where the sawtooth hanger will rest.
  2. Insert the Nail or Screw: Hammer a nail or screw into the marked spot.

For Larger Canvases (with two sawtooth hangers):

  1. Measure the Distance: Measure the distance between the two pre-attached sawtooth hangers on the back of the frame.
  2. Mark the Wall: Mark these points on the wall, ensuring they are level and at the same height.
  3. Install the Nails or Screws: Hammer nails or screws into the wall at the marked spots.

Step 3: Hang the Framed Canvas

  1. Align the Sawtooth Hangers: Position the pre-attached sawtooth hangers over the nails or screws on the wall.
  2. Hang the Canvas: Gently place the canvas onto the nails or screws, ensuring it’s securely attached.

Step 4: Level the Canvas

  1. Check Alignment: Use a level to ensure the framed canvas is hanging straight.
  2. Adjust if Necessary: Make small adjustments until the canvas is perfectly level.
  3. Apply Anti-Collision Pads: Attach the anti-collision silicone pads to the bottom corners of the canvas to prevent tilting and keep the frame steady.

Helpful Tips:

  • Choose the Right Spot: Consider lighting and eye level when selecting the placement for your framed canvas to enhance its visual appeal.
  • Use a Stud Finder: For heavier canvases, use a stud finder to ensure your nails or screws are securely anchored into the wall.
  • Double-Check Measurements: Make sure your marks are accurate and level before hammering or drilling.

Now you’re ready to enjoy your beautifully displayed framed canvas!
